Mike Allocca began his career in 1996 while starting in operations at a freight forwarding company in Albany, NY. After obtaining his bachelors in business administration, he quickly worked his way up over 10 years from internal operations to vice-president of sales. Mike went through the accelerated executive MBA Program through the University at Albany and in 2006 Mike started his own consulting company under Allocca Enterprises Inc.
He has conducted thousands of on-site and public training seminars across the United States and the globe. He works on a daily basis with importers and exporters conducting compliance audits, classifications and implementing written export & import procedures. Mike is a NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional and a NASBITE Certified Trainer. He served on the District Export Council in Columbia, SC for 4 years and he was also elected to the National District Export Council for 3 years where he served as Secretary/Treasurer and Chair of the Outreach and Education committee. This was through the U.S. Commercial Service a division of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Mike stays updated on export/import regulations by attending and/or hosting programs with the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Customs & Border Protection, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Industry & Security and Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
